WHAT IS INFLAMMATION?
In the event of any type of tissue damage, such as infection, burns, painful chemical or traumatic physical injury, etc., the following is the sequence of events that begin to occur:
1) The wound becomes red
2) It is heated later
3) Swelling
4) and finally causes pain. Collectively it is called inflammation.
As the blood flow increases, so does the temperature at the wound site. The capillary wall becomes more permeable due to the presence of histamine.Within minutes, numerous neutrophils and many beneficial substances and fluids are released into the bloodstream through the wall.As a result, the wound became swollen.Neutrophils start eating disease-causing germs, toxins and dead cells.During this time macrophages appear and are quickly deployed in long-term counter-attacks against them.
