1. What is the meaning of Seerah? explain.
Ans: The
word Seerah means a path. It is a path which a person takes during his life
time. The "Hans' dictionary gives the translation of seerah as conduct,
attitude, behavior, way of life, position, reaction, way of acting and
biography.
2.Write any two economic sources of
the Arab society before advent Islam.
Ans: Trade was the most common economics source of
Arab. The trade journey could not be fulfilled unless security of caravan
roudy.
Industry was
the most popular economic source of Arab. Most of available industries of
knitting and tannage in Arabia by people coming from Yemen, Heerch and the
borders Syria.
3.Write the names of some famous
community were engaged in conflict and fighting in Arabian society.
Ans: Community Conflict as very common in the Arab
society. There were many fight among Aaus and khajraj, Bonu Bakar and Bonu
Tamim, Bonu Baker and Boru Taglib.
4.`Studying Seerah is Fard
(obligatory)’. How? Explain.
Ans: The study of the seerah is an individual
obligation upon everyone because we can leam from his example as we are
commanded to follow the example of Prophet Muhammad .
لقد
كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر وذكر الله كثيراً
"Certainly,
there is an excellent example for you in the messenger of Allah, for him who
looks forward to Allah and the last day, and remembers Allah much" (33:21)
5. What do you know about the `Year of
the Elephant' and whose role was there mainly?
The ruler of
Yemen, Abraham, attacked Mecca with a huge army of elephants to destroy the
Kaaba. Allah mixed this elephant army with the ground by the Ababil bird. Since
then the year has been called the Year of the Elephant.
Moreover
Prophet Muhammad was born in this "Year of the Elephant".
6. How many times the name Muhammad
has appeared in the Quran, and where in?
Ans: The
name Muhammed means "Praiseworthy" and occures four times in the
Quran.
(Al-Fath:
48: 29)مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ
(3:144) وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ
(Mhammad:
47:2)وَالَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَآَمَنُوا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ
(al-Ahzab:
33: 40)مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
7.Which battle was between Quraish
and kinana? when and where occurred? what was the role of Mohammad (sw) there?
Ans: The battle was between Quraysh and kinana and
the Qcys Ghilan. The battle was the fourth and most deadly in a series of
skirmishes that had erupted each of the previous three years, The child
Muhammad (SM) role was to collect the enemy's arrows and hand them over to his
uncle.
8.When did the Prophet's grandfather
die?
Ans: Prophets grandfather was died when he was
only eight years two months.
9.With whom Mohammad (sw) stayed soon
after his birth and why?
Ans: Muhammed (sw) stayed soon aftere his birth
with his fostere mothere, Halimah bint Abi Dhucyb, and his husband until he was
two years old, because, according to Islamic tradition soon aftere birth his
sent to live with a Bedouin family in the desert, as the desert lite was
considered healthier for infants.
10.What was happened in the year of
Grief? Write.
Ans: The
prophet (sw) his uncle Abu Taleb and his wife khadiza (r) passed away in the
11th years of the prophethood. That's why, this year is called year of Griet.
11.. When did prophet (SM) get
married?
Ans: Prophet (sM) get married when his age 25
years and his wife khadiza (R) age was 40 years, 595 AC.
12.What is the meaning of Hajrul
Aswad?
Ans: Hajrul Aswad meaning of Black stone. It's the
most important part of kabah.. where everyone kisses during. Hajj..
13.How many Chapters were revealed
after first revelation? Write names of the Chapters (name of Surah).
Ans: There
are two chapters were reavealed after first revelation.
The second
revelation: Surah Al-Mueddathir Chapter 74 يايها المدثر تعرفأنذر وربك فكبر
The third
revelation: Surah Al-Muzzammil Chapter 73
الليل الا قليلا يا ايها المزمل قمر
14.What was the job of Muhammad (sw)
at his early youth?
Ans:
Muhammad (sw) had no particular job at this early youth. It was reported that,
he worked as a shepherd for Beni sead in Makkah. At the age of 25, he went to
Syria as a merchant for khadiza (r.)
15.How to develop love of the prophet
(sw) in the heart of a Muslim?
Ans: We will have to study Seerah in order to
develop the Proper Love of Muhammed (sw) in oure hearts. Loving Muhammad (sw)
is an integral part and obligatory requirement of our faith. Muhammed (sw)
says,
لا
يؤمن اهـدكـم يكـون اهـب اليه من الوالده وولده (Bukhari, Hadith No :14) والناس اجمعين -
we don't
really become true believes until we love Muhammad (sw) more than anything
else. So, it is part of Islam to love Muhammad (sw)
So, we want
to develop love for Muhammed (sw), and the way we can do it is by studing his
lite, we will love him more, the more we study about him.
