Pre-formation

 The word Pre-formation refers to the steps to be undertaken befor formation.

Pre formation include determation physical and chemical properties of drug substance with goal of developing a new drug is safe,stable and efficacious. (Data called )

Investigation of physicalochemical properties  of the new drug. 

Goals and objective of preformation

-to determise the physicalochemical property of drug. 

-to determise the kinetics and stabily.

-to determise compatibility of new drug with excipient.

-to determise problem that may arise during preformulation.

physicalochemical property of drug:

a)Physical properties :

- physical form(crystal and amorphous) 

- Particle size, shape. 

- Flow properties. 

- Solubility properties ( pKa,pH,partition, coefficient) 

- Polymorphism.

b) Chemical properties :

- Hydrolysis 

- Oxidation 

- Reduction 

- Racemisation

- Polymerization.

       মোলারিটি সম্পর্কে আগেই আলোচনা করেছি।না পড়ে থাকলে  মোলারিটি র উপর ক্লিক করো। নরমালিটি  সম্পর্কে জানার আগে আমাদের জানা দরকার গ্রাম তুল্য ভর আসলে কী। দ্রবণে কোন মৌলের মোলারিটিকে তার যোজনী দিয়ে ভাগ করলে ঐ মৌলের গ্রাম তুল্য ভর পাওয়া যায়। আর যৌগের ক্ষেত্রে কোন যৌগের কয় মোল অপর কোন যৌগের সাথে বিক্রিয়া করছে, সেই সংখ্যা দিয়ে মোলারিটিকে ভাগ দিলে তার গ্রাম তুল্য ভর পাওয়া যায়। ভিন্ন ভিন্ন বিক্রিয়ার ক্ষেত্রে যেহেতু এসবের মান পরিবর্তন হয়ে যেতে পারে, তাই গ্রাম তুল্য এককের মানও পরিবর্তিত হয়ে যেতে পারে। এবার চলো নরমালিটি সম্পর্কে  জেনে আসি: নরমালিটি = গ্রাম তুল্য ভর / দ্রবণের আয়তন। একে N দিয়ে প্রকাশ করা হয়ে থাকে। কোন দ্রবণের নরমালিটি ১ হলে তাকে বলে ১ নর্মাল দ্রবণ। উদাহরণ হিসেবে, সালফিউরিক এসিডের H₂SO₄ দ্রবণে প্রতি লিটারে ৯৮ গ্রাম এসিড দ্রবীভূত থাকলে অম্ল-ক্ষার বিক্রিয়ার ক্ষেত্রে এর নরমালিটি হবে ২।(আরো সহজ করে বলি,যৌগের ভরকে যৌগে যতগুলো H থাকবে বা H সমতুল্য যতটা থাকবে ততদিয়ে ভাগ করতে হবে) সালফিউরিক এসিডে ২ মোল H⁺ আয়ন থাকায়( H₂SO₄ এ H আছে ২ টি)প্রতি ১ মোল ক্ষারের...
