 Introduction:

At this time of the year our education system is almost closed. Sometimes this assignment makes us move even a little bit. English is an international language. This language is necessary in every aspect of our life. While writing this assignment, I have tried to make the language as simple and fluent as possible. I have tried to make the writing constructive and logical. Only my respected teachers can say how much success I will get.

Class 6 Assignment English Question and Solution 2nd Week 2021: 

Question: 

Think of your first day at school. What experience did you have then? How did you feel- happy, frightened, thrilled, or shy? Why did you feel so?

In your writing use the following cues-

a. When did you go there?

b. Who did you go with?

c. How did you go there?

d. Who did you meet there?

e. What did you see there?

f. What was interesting/ boring to you? Why?

g. How did you feel after returning home?

Solution: 

My first day at school is one of the most memorable days of my life. The day was Sunday 1 January 2013. I went to a very nearby Govt. primary school with my grandfather by Rickshaw. I had many unknown fears in my mind for the first day of school. After reaching school, I saw some students were playing in the field. We went to the Headmaster’s office room. There we met some teachers also. A very friendly teacher took us to my classroom. When my grandfather left me in the class, I understood that I was in a new and very unknown world. But, soon all of the students joined the assembly. The headmaster delivered a short speech welcoming us at the beginning of the year of our session. Then we returned to the class. After a while, our class teacher entered the class. He told us about many rules and important things.

After some time the first bell rang. Then a new teacher came. She was our English teacher. She told us an interesting story. I enjoyed the class. Really the teachers were very friendly to us. All my fear disappeared after the class. At last, the final bell rang. My father was waiting for me at the school gate. We came back home. After returning I felt upset and missed class time.  I will never forget the sweet memories of the first day at school.

Conclusion :

English is an international language. We can communicate with all the language speaking people of the world through this language. This language has become yours like our mother tongue. So proficiency in English has become essential for us.
